Baseball Game in Seoul !
Watching a Baseball Game in Seoul is definitely a must-see for me!
Many people told me it was a bit boring and could last a long time.
For me, It was incredible and the time ran so fastly, I would have loved to stay longer!
First of all, you may wonder how to get the tickets?
Don't worry too much, it's not necessary to buy tickets in advance. Just check the schedules here :
http://www.homeplate.kr/kbo-schedule
Choose the game, your team, and show up to the stadium 1 hour/30 min before the starting hour.
You might be able to buy a ticket.
2 Options : The green tickets in the outfield for 7.0 or 8.0 W
I would recommend the red seats so you will be able to see the mascots and cheerleaders. Believe me, the show worth it so much ! Price is 10/12.0 W
Here was my spot ! Not bad right ? In front of the cheerleaders and surrounded by dancing and singing supporters !
If you get lost, always remind to watch the screen. It helps. A little bit. I knew nothing about the rules and I was a bit confused until I figured out thanks to my Korean friend :3 And also, if you can read Korean, you can pretend to know the name of the players and sing !
Everytime our team was attacking (hitting the ball) there is a cheering song for the player. Which mean 1 player, 1 try = 1 song. IF the player hits the ball, the cheerleaders start a crazy dance with the mascot, it's very fun. So much that sometimes I even forgot to watch the game !
Suddenly, the screen was showing 2 girls. Actualy, it's a beer challenge. They picked one girl from each team and they have to finish their beer firts. Quite fun :D
We also had the opportunity to see one guy proposing his girl on the stage. So cute !
ANNNND on top of this, the seats are adapted for BEER ! ... Be careful, you can't buy beer after the 7th round (I don't know if I can call it a round, sorry for being so ignorant 0_0")
Of course, the stadium is full of restaurants. You may find fried chicken, barbecue, Korean food like teokkpoki, dumplings, ramen...Even convenience stores.
I had a bunch of fries :D (People from North of France will understand...)
Oh, by the way, I've seen Doosan vs LG, 2 teams from Seoul. I was with Doosan team in the stadium, and they lost. Kinda sad.
