Introduction !

Hello everyone ! Welcome on 365 days INSIDE Seoul !

My name is Camille and I will try to let you know how to experience Korean lifestyle in Seoul.

First of all, let me introduce myself !

I'm a 24yo French girl, who loves traveling, especially with a backpack, looking for local experiences. I arrived in Seoul the 19th of January with a Working Holiday Visa. I challenged myself to survive one year in korea without speaking korean, being a k-pop fan or a drama addict.
Believe me, it's a challenge !
But...hey, easy travels are not that fun !

The main goal of this blog is to let you know my daily of korean discoveries, my feelings, some locals tips, AND... GOOD FOOD (yep, I'm a food lover, and I think korea is a nice place for us, the multi-stomaches people ! )

By the way, don't expect me to write touristic articles about cultural facts or listing the palaces of Seoul, I'm very bad at it, and Lonely planet did it before... (How dare they ? ). I want LOCAL , UNIQUE, FUN experiences !

The last thing you have to know is that I'm a big fan of convenience stores. We can find so many chemicals but tasty and cheap treasures in this holy places ! So don't be surprise if I get too excited about one sparkling mango soda, kiwi candies, honey butter chips or some oreos sandwich ice creams.  (was it a spoiler ? ... Oh god no, don't worry, there are so many other surprising stuffs there !)

My job at Backpackers INSIDE !

Well, in january, I found a job with Work Away, few days before I arrived in Seoul. I was desperately seeking for a cool place to stay and here I am !
I live in a very friendly Guest House called "INSIDE Backpackers"
It's a very cool place, where you can really feel like home. Everything here is clean and organized to make you feel comfortable. There are so many tips to make you survive in the wild Seoul ! (All those metro maps, train and bus information, Seoul sightseeings, toursim and culture blabla that I won't talk about because...lonely planet you know...)
So I personally feel comfortable living there, and I think that most of the people coming here would agree ! (Proof here  ^^)

Well !  let's start the journey !

I will eat as much as I can, buy weird snacks at the convenience stores, stupid kawaï goodies, try cosmetics with surprising perfumes and come back to France poor and fat. But...no regrets ! ahaha !
