Sweet sweet street food
I can't resist to street food
I can already read in your mind...
"Can you resist to any food ?" mhhhh... no :D
But those lil fishes are so cute and smell so good. It caught my attention annnnd I made them mine really fast for 1000KW, I got a bag with 7 fishes.
It is called Bungeoppang and it is a red bean paste in a dough cooked like a waffle.
It is a bit roasted and soft inside.
Obviously, it's sweet !

| Sorry that's not chocolate :') |
I would almost say that it looks like japanese Taiyaki but it will be two comparisons with japanese food and korean people would be angry at me. I don't know if I can do that. Ahah !
Anyway, I recommend to try this korean pastry, it's super nice (French advice on korean pastry ^_^)
If I convinced you, and you are now wondering "where can I find this ?".... I would answer everywhere ! (Good new !) that's street food but you can also find it in the subway stations.
( Follow the good smell ! )
...
As a french girl, it super weird to write "follow the good smell in the subway !"... I could walk forever in the french subway to find a good smell ahahah !
-French complaint spotted-
The next sweet snack I want to show you is the Manjoo !

It is fried dough with cream inside !
It is super soft ! The only problem is, some venders prepare a lot of it and just leave it in the bags to sell it later. It becomes a bit too soft, it's better when it's just cooked and a little bit crispy on the outside !
Like the Bungeoppang, you can buy the manjoo in the streets and in the subway station.
Once again, the cuteness of this snack got me.
I'm very weak, but it worth it !
And last but not least, the hotteok (If you ask a korean, you will understand that it's hot dog and you will get totally confused. happened to me, and I answered, "but there is not even sausage inside ! "... hum.)
ANYWAY

This is deep fried, (as you can see, it's swimming in oil...something you prefer not to see when they prepare the food ! ahah !) But, as it's fat, it's very tasty ! (life is not cool with us...) and it's filled with honey, brown sugar, peanut and cinnamon.
There is a salty version filled with noodles and veggies. I haven't tried it yet...But it might be good :D
I found this one in Namdaemun market but I guess it's famous in every street food area too.
Enjoy all these fancy snacks and tell me which one you prefered ! :)
