Noryangjin Fish Market
Incredible fish market !
It is located near the Noryangjin station, under the Han river !
Here we go !
Our team was Canadian, Malaysian and Egyptian !
You can't miss this big Market ! There are two buildings, full of fish ! It's incredible how much fish they can sell here !
So, here start our adventure !
Special thanks to our malaysian friend who bargained in chinese like a professional !
"What about buying an octopus ?"
"Yes of course"
That's how we ended buying a living octopus...
It is actually way cheaper than buying it in the restaurant
10 000 for 3 octopus. We obviously didn't need 3 so we had 1 for 3000won.
But you know, walking an octopus in this market make you get some feeling for him after few minutes... that was such a bad feeling when we realized what we were doing...
When some of them try to get some freedom, joining the crab's side !
This one looks so angry (and I can understand...)
Those lobsters were impressive !
130 000 Won she said. It will be fun she said ...ahahah !
That was hilarious because we understood 13 000 Won and we were about to buy it when she looked at me so chocked that I gave her my 10 000won note. NOPE
That's the really nice side of this market. If you like seafood, you will starve after few meters walking there... The fish looks so good! So you can buy anything and give it to the ladies around to eat it immediately!
Here is our lunch !
(Our octopus buddy, chopped in a plate... god that's so brutal ! ahah !)
The 1KG shrimp was 20 000Won that we split in 4.
Finally, we paid around 10 000 per person for this dish.
I think it's decent for fresh seafood.
I really liked walking around this place !
Officially recommended for a local experience :)
