Tongin Market
Tongin Market is the cutest market I've been in !
To go there, you have to take the subway to Gyeongbukgung station exit 2.
Go straight and you will get to the market entrance on your left. (You have to walk a little)
Your mission now is to find the cafe, (see the pic below)
When you got there, go upstair, queue a little and then you will be able to buy coins !
(that's so fun and cute !)
With your coins you will get a fabulous lunch box that you will have to full with foooood ! :D
We had so much fun paying with those coins !
Now let's explore the food ! It is so cheap that you can have a lot of different dishes, and try it all !
This drink is so nice (But I have to recognize that I don't know what is it... ahaha ! )
You can definitely read the happiness on his face, holding a big amount of cheap and delicious food :)
Here is our lunch boxes ! Some pork, eggs, fried glass noodles, fried chicken, steak chicken, little kimbab, tofu, black sauce teokkpoki, and sun-dae ! :)
This place is not very touristy yet, so it was quiet and super relaxing to walk around and take time to understand how it works.
There is a little kind of cantine near the cafe where you buy the coins, then you can sit and eat comfortably.
You may eat in the middle of young student girls, coming for lunch break !
The concept is very nice and the area is cute too ! You can enjoy and walk around after having lunch !
