Shop at first sight

It is cute, it is Kawaï, sometimes amazing...BUT IT'S A TRAP ! 

Hey you ! 

Today, I'm gonna talk about the first trap you get in in Korea ! Imagine, you're a 24yo girl just arrived in Seoul, and you want to discover the neighborhood. First of all, you put your favorite comfortable shoes and then, you're ready for the adventure ! 

Soon, you may enter in a super-fun-kawaï-cute-amazing shopping area ! (You didn't especially wanted to go there but those areas are coming to you anyway !). The street venders and cosmetic shops may broadcast some drugs to make you come and buy ... or maybe is it me who's too weak to resist ? 

I would say that I havn't seen any girl going out of our guest house without buying 

FACEMASK or/and FUNNY SOCKS 

I was personally concerned, because I bought a lot of these ! And now I want to start a collection of fancy socks. One thing you have to know is that I HATE wearing socks since I'm a kid. I think it's super uncomfortable. And oh god, that's horrible when you put your socks on in the bathroom and walk in the water and then you know the day is starting in a very bad way... Anyway... I'm going too far. The important thing is that those fancy socks are curing me. So I have an excuse to buy a lot of them, to start my new life as a socks-tolerant ! (this is the worse excuse I could have found for spending money in socks.)

This is the beginning of my collection ! Honestly, isn't it too cute ?

The second trap are the face masks. So many fragrances and weird ingredients your skin definitely need to try !  I have to say that the feeling of application is also very nice, it's fresh and it smells very good ! 

The basic ones can be green tea, soy, cucumber, aloe vera, lemon, rice, ginseng, berries...And the list is still very long !

Then, you can find those fancy ones ! 

Here are the funniest I found. 

Propolis and bee venom, snail, and caviar ! I tried the bee venom and it smelled so goood ! :) 

In the same collection, you can find the horse fat, salmon or the bird's nest face mask. A bit too weird for me...

There are thousands of cosmetic shops in seoul selling those face masks, so I can't imagine how many weird ingredients you could find during your shopping ! And like the socks, it can be very cheap. I've always found mines for 1$. But if you really like it, they always make promotion like "buy 10 get 10 free" ! (yes, that's real, yes, you need more luggages to go back home and bring those beauty with you ! )

So this is one part of my daily : socks and face mask hunting...

Korea can make you do strange things sometimes ! But it's very fun !
